looking at a unit on line and it says new repo unit with one year warranty from sal which I know is a warranty company they sell you after. ITs still new never used so how can it be repo

You should be able to tell if it was ever titled and registered. That is a good clue as to whether a dealer lost it before selling the unit or it was sold to a customer and they let it go.

And it could be that someone bought it, never used it, and just wasn't making their payments. More likely as said above it was from a dealer that went belly up.

could be from one of those flooded states. if buying I,d do a lot of looking and checking things over before I bought.
