I have been using a product designated to lube slide mechanisms followed by running a brush through the rail teeth...a somewhat tedious chore, but our slides move in and out smoothly and without the disconcerting screech we heard prior to taking this step.
your slide rails need cleaned and dry lubed .
Large slide is heavy dirty rails create resistance Auto reset trips cools comes back on slide goes out
Slide comes in less weight on rails less friction does not trip the reset fuse
Also dry lube and clean your slide seals
THIS IS PART OF MAINTANCE

One more vote for resettable breaker.
Unless you have a meter across the breaker when the slide stops, there is no way to know if the breaker is tripping or not. I just replaced mine to correct the same symptom.
If the breaker trips, would you not have to reset it each time if it is a breaker?
NO. We are talking about self-resetting breakers. It should look something like
It will be in line between the battery and the pump motor.
