Slide Out

We have a 2008 Cardinal with 3 slides. The bedroom, kitchen slide goes out first, second but living room slide gets almost out it stops. We wait a few minutes then goes on out. No problems at all coming in. Someone told us the 'manifold' could be bad? Plenty of fluid in it. Any idea's what possibly could be? thanx.

It doesn't seem to be a breaker or dirty slide.. the motor continues to run when the slide stops at a certain point. Maybe air in line?

Large slide is heavy dirty rails create resistance Auto reset trips cools comes back on slide goes out

Slide comes in less weight on rails less friction does not trip the reset fuse
Also dry lube and clean your slide seals

THIS IS PART OF MAINTANCE
Agree with newman fulltimer. I have been using a product designated to lube slide mechanisms followed by running a brush through the rail teeth...a somewhat tedious chore, but our slides move in and out smoothly and without the disconcerting screech we heard prior to taking this step.

One more vote for resettable breaker.
Unless you have a meter across the breaker when the slide stops, there is no way to know if the breaker is tripping or not. I just replaced mine to correct the same symptom.

If the breaker trips, would you not have to reset it each time if it is a breaker?

NO. We are talking about self-resetting breakers. It should look something like

It will be in line between the battery and the pump motor.

X3. Replaced my breaker a month ago. Same issue you are having. Ordered a new one and a spare off of Amazon for 8.00 each. Took five minutes to replace and issue solved.

Could it be low battery?

The rails are cleaned lubed on a regular basis. We cannot figure why sometimes it comes out completely, next time it may not. They are hydraulic slides.

The big slide goes out, stops about 2ft.. have to wait a bit and then it will go out or slide back in, slide out again and it goes completely out.. Not breakers, they all are fine.

It's the auto breakers. They age and trip easier and easier over time. Getting a new one might cost you $5 - $10 at most. Make certain you disconnect all power and battery cables before replacing one.
