Toilet wobble

So, i replaced my current toilet(Thedford 42054) with a new (Thedford 42060) as far I can see they are identical toilets. The new toilet won’t tighten down and it wobbles. I did put a new correct seal in as well.

Any thoughts?

The old seal was what I used to match up with a new one. So I know it’s not still in place

You did not take the old seal off the flange on the floor where it was stuck to

Both of those model numbers are for an Aqua Magic Style II toilet

Identical toilets

So you need to pull 'new' toilet back up and check IF something got under the base, seal still intact etc
