the better 1/2 thinks we need to go back to a 5th wheel from a truck camper. the problem is I enjoy taking our corvette with us. has anyone made a tote similar to the Idaho tote with 16" tires that can handle 3300 lbs?

thanx, Steve T.

It would not be a legal combination in Illinois. IL allows double towing but the 3rd vehicle has to be either a motorcycle, boat, PWC, or ATV. No cars, trucks, etc.
So there is more to it than just overall length. Some states which do permit double towing do not allow motor vehicles. Check the laws in the states in which you intend to pull.

I can't say I would recommend it, but a few years ago there was a truck and 30+' 5er in the same campground with a car trailer behind the 5er and a beautifully restored early 60's Pontiac Bonneville convertible on the trailer. Don't know if they were going to a show, or just liked driving it.
But it definitely looked longer than state laws would allow.

I see no reason you couldn't do this, and there really aren't that many states that don't allow double-towing. However, most of them require that each towed "vehicle" have brakes and some of them have fairly short lengths for the whole shebang.

many states do not allow triple tow. and you would certainly be way over the max combined length.

I want a toy hauler with an 18 ft garage and carry 3700lbs.. (my custom show truck is 16.5) sadly they don't make anything like this.
