I agree. I would go with a 15k Trunnion style WDH. First though I would weigh the Trailer for tongue weight so your sure what it is and not what the manufacturer says it is (which it isn't) Plus for a trailer your size I would add two friction anti sway bars one on each side.. A anti rattle clamp like the one sold by Hitch Rider would be good too so you won't have any slop in the hitch...
With the WDH you have now your not getting the full benefit because it's too light for your application.
