My owner's manual (Dutchmen North Shore) states several times "do not apply wax to the graphics".

Since the graphics are pealing up and I plan to remove them some day in the indefinite future when I have time and feel like doing it, what's the downside of using a random orbital polisher to apply the wax with blithe disregard to the graphics?

How many people wax right over the 4x4 sticker on their truck? Probably everyone.

I have been waxing my graphics for years....on everything that has graphics. They are made of the same stuff that car pin striping is, have you ever seen anyone avoid putting wax on those?

When you do this, do you wax right up to the graphics with just a little overlap of the wax and 303 or do you wax over the graphics and 303?

I wax my 5'er twice a year and am not careful about avoiding the graphics. I use a random orbital buffer. Trailer is 10 years old and graphics look fine including the edges. The sun is worse on graphics then wax, IMO.

high speed buffing will catch the edges of the graphics and cause them to spin off or tear the graphics, and will get little pieces of decal sticking in your buffing pad. Waxing is actually ok but only by hand buffing
