What are maximum winds one could pull 35 foot fiver with 2500 chev duramax? Winds look 20 to 30 Monday.
"How long should a man's leg be?" Long enough to touch the ground :). The answer is in part subjective based on your past RV driving experiences. Part of it boils to your tolerance to anxiety. Part of it depends on the direction of the winds. Head on or tail winds are easier to tow in. Side winds that come in unpredictable bursts can really test your nerves and give your white knuckles.
Personally I am ok when winds are up to the 20 to 25 MPH range but I am very cautious and drop my speeds 10 MPH from my normal driving speeds. If I can, I might add water to my fresh tank to gain a little more weight and stability. When winds get over 30 miles per hour I find a RV park to stay overnight and wait for the winds to drop. This especially true in desert areas i.e. Santa Anna winds. I have everything to gain and nothing to loose by being a little cautious.
Before I start my trip I use my iPhone with the application called "Wind Alert". I can route my whole trip and check the winds along all the towns/areas I will be traveling through and then make my plans accordingly.
