1994 Firan "Europremier" chassis wiring diagram? New owner

Hello All!

I'm a new owner of a 1994 Europremier with a spartan Chassis. I'm new to all this so. Great and glad to learn about all of this stuff! I'm trying to locate all and any manuals and wiring schematics/diagrams for a 1994 Firan EuroPremier. It has a 6C8.3 300 engine as I know. Any help would be appreciated. It hasn't been started in 10yrs. It seems there is not too much info online about them. We put in (2) new batteries and was hoping it would start but no electrical comes on up front on the dash board.

Thank so much in advanced!

Have you found success getting power and getting it started?

Also, there appears to be another member with the same coach as you looking for information and manuals. Here's the link...

There appears to be someone with information that they are willing to share.

Wow....unfortunately, I've seen worse...just not lately. As DrewE said you probably swapped out the coach batteries.

Find the starter and follow the cables back to the battery set. Along the way, check for badly corroded or missing or shot fuses and connections.

As noted, about any backyard diesel mechanic should be able to get you going.

But you got a lot of work to do in that battery compartment. Clean as much as you can to expose as much as you can. If you can't see it, you won't be able to tell what's obvious and what's hidden.

I think you probably replaced the house batteries, but not the chassis batteries. The generator is commonly (though not always) started from the house batteries--and, of course, the various interior lights and appliances and such operate off of them, excepting those directly associated with the vehicle chassis (i.e. the defroster fan, maybe a dome light, sometimes the dash radio, etc.)

I posted a few photo links below which I hope helps! Working off a budget also or I'd love to have it taken in to get looked at. I have to get it running first to get it moved to a service guy at least. Thanks so much all for the replies and any help!!!

Nothing special about the driveline. Any tech familiar with basic wiring and fuel systems for mechanical Cummins C engines should be able to get you going.

The big issue is whether the diesel is still good. If not, MUCH cheaper to pay to have it drained and disposed of than to destroy the injection pump. A good diesel tech can "smell it" as a first indicator and then take a small sample from the primary fuel filter/water separator after running the engine for the first time.

Does it crank or just sit there? This is a mechanical diesel so there isn't much to them....the basic air, fuel, battery.

If it doesn't crank at all, start in the battery bay and check all your big fuses. There will also be fuses in the engine compartment where the battery cables come in from the battery box. Check those as well.

Is this a 12v or 24v system? Whichever, make sure your new batteries are wired for the voltage you need. A 12v setup will not power a 24v system.

Well that's not promising to hear!! It's in unbelievable shape though.
So sounds like all the members here don't have many of these anymore. I'll try to be optimistic for any help from other members still... I appreciate the reply

You are on your own as far as a wiring diagram. Start at the battery and work out from there. Check all wires, grounds, fuses, breakers etc.
Setting for ten years you could have rodent chewed wires.
