2000 HR Class A motorhome Generator and Jack problem

I was traveling from Dallas and started my generator while traveling. I could not hear when it started so I may have kept the start button engaged after it had started. I later shut the generator off. I got home and tried to start the generator and it would not engage. I then tried to lower the jacks and they would not go down either. What ever happen seemed to effect the generator and jacks at the same time.I don't know of anything else not working.Any suggestions as what may be wrong??

If you have a blinking red light on the generator, it's presumably not a 12V fuse since it is receiving power enough to blink the light. If you post a question in the tech issues forum with the exact generator model and a description of the blinks (assuming it might be some sort of an error code, e.g. three blinks then two blinks, or something like that), you'll be rather more likely to get help from people who really know what's going on.

It would be worthwhile to check that the oil level in the generator is full. Some have very sensitive oil level sensors.

I have power in the coach.Everything works as normal except the generator and jacks. Just odd that both stopped working at the same time. The outside switch for the generator has a blinking red light when you hold it in to start position but the starter does not engage or click. The jacks are hydraulic and the light on the dash lights up but when you press the button to lower them nothing happens.I tested the 2 -6 volt batteries and have 12.6 volts. I checked the breakers in the coach and none were tripped.I don't see where the fuse may be for the generator or the jacks.

Is the battery disconnect switch turned off? Do you have any 12V power to things in the coach?

Electric or hyd jacks. Have you tried the switch at the gen. Does the starter make any noise.
