Hello

A buddy passed away and I am helping his wife to get the RV put away for winter. I have an RV (small travel trailer) so I have winterized but his is a class A and I want to make sure there is nothing special I might be missing.

I also could not find lower water points on a quick first glance.
Will winterize with an air compressor.
THANKS

Can you figure out if buddy used AF before? If you can do what he did, may be simpler.
That is a last resort, imo. But I’m not a fan of winterizing with AF.

I have the same thread on another site and the info is similar. No icemaker, macerating toilet or washer/dryer, so I am good there. My though is to make sure I find the low point drains, use compressed air and finalize with antifreeze to be save.

THANKS TO ALL!

I blow out my class A water lines every fall. You can not blow out all the cavities in the water pump, so I pump a touch of antifreeze in the pump. Of course you have to drain the water heater and take the necessary precautions for the ice maker. Undo the ice maker water line from the valve to drain it. Remove line feeding the ice maker valve to blow out the water line.

This has worked for mw for over 30 years.

I suggest plumbing antifreeze for all the drains. Treat the water pump with antifreeze too.

Does the fridge have an ice maker?

Give yourself a pat on the back for being a great friend to the widow.
