Back helping family member again . 🙂 Its a chev chassis 8.1 anyway problem is the heater/ac Fan in the front cab part. for some reason the fan switch has 5 connections . but one is missing in wire harness. testing the harness I get different voltage at each one on wire harness. and I noticed its a ford heater switch and motocraft fan speed spring deal on outside of fire wall . My question is why would one of the connectors have no wire going to it from wire harness to the switch . and ya fan not working is the problem . would the one missing be a ground ? any help be great . but Im sure only someone with this model would understand the question . and why is there ford parts on a chevy chassis are they thinking lets make this real confusing for the maintenance guy or what 🙂 I'm Chevy guy I see ford and I get confused 🙂 any help be great. picture of back of someone else brave fans switch
