2001 diplomat class A 330 cummins - looking to purchase

I am looking at a 40' 2001 Monaco Diplomat 330 Cummins with Ralph Lauren up grade? Can anyone give me some feedback, positive or neg. Things to look for and or possible issues with this coach. Pictures show it seems to have been fairly well taken care of but pictures or just pictures. Thanks in advance for all feedback.

I don't know here you live or where the coach is located; however, I wouldn't buy a coach (especially one of that age) without finding a really good tech to do the PDI so you can use that info in negotiating with the seller. Too many coaches look great and have low mileage but once you own it you also own the repairs and fixes! A 10 year old coach doesn't normally have any warranties left on it so any binkies are on your check book.You should also insist on all of the maintenance records and call Monaco (i know they were sold) and give them the VIN # to see what they can tell you about the coach. Check the tire manufacture date on the inside if the tires, all of them, as replacing 6 tires is very expensive and they might look great but if they are 7 years or older you will be faced with that expense fairly quickly.

Nice RV, Just don't get in a hurry with a 330 hp 40 footer. Very capable power though. Diplomat models are nice and popular.
