2005 Alfa - things to check before buy

So, after awning ove 12 RVs (currently 7 in a rental fleet) I came across an Alfa with 80k miles at a good price. The inside looks really good, the outside is aweful with blisters.
I drove it and drives great, starts right up. Generator runs fine.
I’m not afraid of the house part or the outside looks. My question, what do I need to check mechanically? If it was a V10 I could just hear it and tell you if it’s good, but the diesel world, I don’t even know where to start looking.
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

Those outside blisters is what put them out of bussinness.
For the engine if it sounds like a bunch of nuts and bolts being shaken in a can its all good.:)

check out the alfaseeya discussion group at groups.io. should be easy to find on Google. Lots and lots of useful technical info there and I know this question has been addressed there. We acquired our '05 SeeYa Gold a few months ago and just love it.
