On mine it was connected right in the outside access hatch. Pop off the door and it was right there. That said, in order to get to the entire line, I had to disconnect the fridge and move it about 8-10" forward to reach the line where it enters the fridge. Not a big deal but a lot more work than it needed to be. When I changed it, I used two pieces-one from the ice tray just outside the back of the fridge, and another from there to the supply line. I then coupled them together. The crack was on the hose outside the fridge and I figured if it did it again, I wouldn't have to fish and push the line back in...simply undo the coupler and go. However, before it failed again I replaced the fridge with a residential and am much happier. That was five years ago. :)......Dennis
