We are considering a 2008 Four Winds 31P on a Chevy 6.0 Vortec with 72k miles on it. Onan generator has 800 hours on it. We both drive Chevy trucks so 72K miles didnt seem like alot. Is this alot of miles on a Class C? Is it better or worse to drive it or let it sit? We understand that everyone has an opinion. Please chime in. Thank you for feedback. Safe travels.

We just bought a 2008 on a Chevy 6L Vortec platform w/ 75K. But we knew the previous owner. More miles than I wanted but the price was too good to pass up.

Genny had 120 hours on it.

So far so good.

Be advised that we ran into trouble getting a loan. Heard a couple of times "We won't loan on an RV with more than 60K."

We did get it financed but it was some extra work.

Well, it depends, more important, how has it been maintained? Engine, chassis should be good for many more miles, its the rv portion that will cause you grief, leaks, delamination, mold, non working appliances, a/c, generator, etc. Tires if over 5 years old, may need replacing. These issues relate more to age and deferred maintenance than miles driven, in my opinion sitting is way worse than driving
