I have a 2008 Monaco Dynasty...Yesterday when I put my slide out (not sure that's what caused the issue) the drivers seat started to move on its own. It looked as if the memory seat was trying to move seat to a position and wouldn't finish. The position 2 on memory seat switch was flashing and I couldn't move the seat manually at all. I unplugged the seat and turned coach off for about 15-20 min and then I could move the seat manually. But after a short time the seat started to move again on its own. I tried to just unplug the memory seat to bypass as I don't need or use but then seat would move at all. I am guessing there is a module under the seat but not sure. Has anyone ever seen this issue before and can help me. Thanks for any advise.
Some model Monaco Hi Lines had an auto drivers seat module that moved the drivers seat forward when the drivers slide room was activated to keep from hitting the seat. Does your model have this feature? Doug
Per your owners manual.
SlIDe-out operatIon Slide room operation uses safety features to help prevent mechanical damage or physical harm. Slide room(s) will not operate until all safety requirements are met. To help prevent damage to the pilot seat during room operation, a seat forward function is programmed in the pilot seat. The seat will begin to move forward automatically prior to slide room activation. The seat should be moved forward manually to help ensure no contact is made. The driver seat will move forward automatically when the slide-out switch is pressed. This feature is programmed at the factory. To Program Seat Forward Position: Slide seat to full forward position. Press and hold the Memory Set button. Press Memory buttons 1 & 2 and release Set button. Release Memory buttons. Lights on buttons will flash three times to signal program completed
I did look for broken wires and connections didn't see any at all. I was may also thinking a wire that has wore through and is grounding out on the steel frame but didn't want to tear the covers off the seats unless someone has seen the issue.
