2013 Meridian Wind Noise--Driver mirror

I have a terrible wind noise with the driver side mirror. The mirror is offset from the front of the unit while the mirror on the passenger side extends beyound the from of the coach.

Winnebago says there is nothing that can be done it is a flaw in the desgin and could be corrected on future models.

Any suggestions for cutting the noise? If I slide open my window the noise is reduced as the wind is buffeting against the glass.

Others have solved this issue by ensuring that the mirror is adjusted in as close to the side of the coach's side window as possible, this puts the mirror in the coaches wind slip stream and air flows evenly over the mirror. This is what I've done with ours and it seemed to work out OK.

Mizzouri, if I understand what you are describing with your mirror, the right mirror is sticking out on an arm, the driver's mirror is view from the driver's side window (not through the windshield).

Prevost had a vibration problem, not so much of a wind noise problem. But, the vibration was caused by the wind. To cure it, the driver's mirror was set close to the driver's side window, maybe about an inch or so away from the glass. It helped tremendously.

Good luck,
MM.

Had a similar noise that I thought was the side mirror. Read a discussion on this forum about window weep hole covers as the cause. Didn't have any on the left side because FW installed right side covers on the left side & they all fell off. Purchased left side covers on EBAY & installed them on the driver's side window. Didn't hear the wind noise on my last trip.

Make sure the inserts are all in the mirror. The previous owner on my coach told me he had a terrible wind noise that took forever to solve. Turned out one of his allen screw covers was missing. Cured the noise.

I would ask Winnebago what the design change is and see if it can be applied to your coach.
My only suggestion is to tape various shaped objects to the back of the mirror to disrupt the airflow in hopes that it will minimize the wind noise.
