2014 onan 5000

puchased new coachmen pursuit 6-15-15
onan 5000 ran great first 2 camping trips
19 hours on it now
cranks and runs good for 2 minutes,then cuts off
come back in 1 hour ,same thing over again
made an appointment with cummins onan service center in houston
they have a 6 week waiting list for warranty service
if anyone has any ideas about how i could get back in action i will thank you in advance

Try starting it with all electric items turned off. Water heater, Refrig, Inverters and converters, A/C, TVs, etc and letting it warm up an come up to speed before turning everything back on. Mine does not like the converter to be on line when it first starts but after 5 minutes or so it works fine. Good Luck.

Is the MH's fuel tank above 1/4 tank?

Is the oil level on the Onan full?

I really question the quality anymore of the Cummins/Onan gen sets. I've had to take mine in several time. On my 29.2 it had a catastrophic failure, turbine shaft completely broke. next time the board fried. 6 weeks wait time tells you how busy they are fixing units. Wish there was another brand. I have a home gen set made by generac and it's bullet proof.
