78 Blue Bird Breaker Box

Hi: We're new to the forum and happy to be here. We picked up our "new"
78 Blue Bird Wanderlodge and drove it home from Lovelock, NV to Truckee, CA. When we picked up the coach everything worked. After parking it at home, we can't get the generater started, none of the lights including the interior, turn signal, flasher, etc., dont work. All batteries are charged and the genny tank is full. We have searched to no avail to find the 12 volt breaker box or been able to figure out what is wrong. We did find a wire dangling down under the bus and it may be a ground wire. The owners manuals are useless as they refer to the breaker box but don't say where it's located. Also, the air step doesn't work either. We are beyond frustrated and completely puzzled. The coach starts up immediately, and the only thing that works is the sound system and the headlights. Can anyone out there give us some ideas as to where to start. Thanks, Bill and Judy

Thank you, everyone for your help. We will take your advice and search everywhere you suggested. Yes, we're on the Blue Bird forum also. I just know the fix is something simple that we are overlooking. We will keep you posted. Thanks again

sounds like you turned On a battery disconnecct switch someplace
not an uncommon thing
playing with switches, wondering what does it turn on or off

battery disconnect ON..means NO power in coach
you want battery disconnect OFF
it could be a rocker switch, it could be a Heavy knob type switch, old fashion looking
its common on the seller "walk thru" for the buyer to be so excited, he doesn't remember what the seller was pointing out

wander lodge was always top of the line
you got enough switches and gauges to rival a 747
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Welcome to the forum
I'm not familiar with your rig. On our 96 Southwind the breakers are located under the refrigerator.
Start looking and following wires.
Hopefully someone will post with the location.
Did you reattach the ground wire?

Also, did you search the web for a Blue Bird Owners forum?

Enjoy your travels.
