Do not seem to get power to my new ac.
It was running fine and then just quit.
I have heard that it uses the same fuse as my furnace but I have checked all fuses and breakers and the rear air does work.
Any ideas?

no there is no 12V fuse at a roof AC that supplys the stat.it has to be with all the other HOUSE 12V fuses. In my unit there all on one panel.Pull stat off wall and make sure the 12v power wire did not come disconnected??or switch stats maybe stat is DOA

Most of the time you can't look at a breaker and see if its tripped
You have to flip them to off and then back to on
If one doesn't have a good "click" when it flips to off it was likely tripped
Good Luck, Mike

Ours has a breaker for each a/c unit...double check the breaker.

Is there 12 volt DC power to the control panel/thermostat? If DC power is there, then you are looking for 120 volt AC to the unit itself.
