Adhesive to mount video screen on backup camera

Hi! The video screen for our backup camera was mounted to the windshield (where the rear view mirror normally would be). The adhesive mounting it no longer holds it in place and it fell. I remounted it using 3M double sided tape (designed for auto mirrors, trim, etc). The tape doesn't seem to work either and the video screen keeps falling. The tape holds ok on the glass - it fails to adhear to the metal mounting bracket.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions on products that might work better and hold the video screen in place? Thank you.

You can buy rear view mirror adhesive like this.
