Airstream Interstate low ground clearance

I just pulled the trigger on a 2015 Airstream Interstate Grand Tour. One of the things I noticed is the ground clearance on the vehicle seems a bit skimpy. Does anyone know what the lowest point is? It looks to me like the generator. Does anyone have any experiences/recommendations regarding low ground clearance on the Interstate?

Thanks.

I think most have skid plates welded in to protect the gen-set

That's a nice rig!

The lowest I've seen is the Travato at 6 1/4" and that is not a problem by all accounts. The Interstate seems alittle higher to me.

Most cars and mini-vans are less, so I don't see why you'd have any problems. If you use forest service roads, just keep an eye out for big rocks.
