Another use for the motorhome

Yesterday I wanted to head to a local park for the day that is about an hour and a half away. Told the family if we all went I would take the motor home as it was suppose to be iffy weather and would be nice to have a place to warm up if needed. As it got closer to leave the weather cleared up and I said we would just take the van to which my son objected so we took the motor home.

Was a nice drive down, got to the park and the first stop was to use the washroom. Only problem was that with it being the off season only two vault toilets are open and both of those were in the middle of being rebuilt. A hundred or so people in the park and half of them were looking for a toilet that was open with no success.

Well with the RV we had our own bathroom with and we were really glad we did. The nearest bathroom was 35 minutes away - in this park there is no place to go that is not in the open so even behind a bush is not an option. I had tossed some RV antifreeze in a month ago in case we needed to use the toilet so flushing was not a problem.

Sure it may have cost a little more on gas but having all the benefits of home with was REALLY worth it!!!

Our 5th wheel is parked on our property fully stocked except for perishables

It is really to go on a whim

It is available as a 'man cave'

It is ready for guests


Isn't that what they are for........personal use with all the goodies :B

Traveling by RV may not be the cheapest way to go but, it's the most convenient. :C
