I have a Fleetwood Excursion 2008. My power kicks off if I run. Both AC's. all power goes down. It is HOT in Texas. The coach is 40 foot and should really cool us. Some electrical parts work plugs only, some lights. What is going on? If I start the coach the power will power up but still only 1 ac. Until it de idea to kick off. Then I start the motor and can get power to reset. NO clue

2008 40 FT should be a 50amp service
BUT
if you are plugged into a 30amp service with a 50-30 adapter
there may not be enough power to run both A/C's

if on 30 amp you will MUST turn hot water to LP and fridge to LP and limit all other power use
each A/C needds about 12amps to run and a lot more to kick on the a/c compressors
so run power for two a/c units is approx 24 amps
that means no electric HW, no MW, etc.. unless you have 50amp service
50amp rv service is really 100amps, 50 amps per leg, and there are two legs
30amp rv service has Only One 30amp leg

big big difference
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Do you have an EMS?

Turn off un-needed loads like the WH.

What is the voltage? Both legs need to be tested.

The more specifics you give us the more we can help.

When you say starting the engine (main engine I assume, not generator) allows one A/C to turn on, that would indicate a problem with the 12 VDC side of things (if you have a 12 VDC thermostat).

Do this. Turn off all heavy loads. Unplug from shore power. Start the generator. Turn on A/C's etc. Now what works, doesn't work?

Shore power. Do you think. The power cord could be the problem.

is this on shore power or generator?
if generator check both breakers on generator it sounds like one may be kicked.
if shore power check voltage . low voltage or wrong sized cord.
