Neighbor has a 2002 Winnebago Sightseer. The motor in the carefree awning has quit and they say the motor is discontinued. He can't find a part number on it and is reluctant to remove it because he won't be able to close the awning. Not sure if it was put on at the factory or after......is there any where to find a part number without taking it off?
Don't go to CF of C. Pull the motor and take it OReilly's auto parts and you might get one for $53. If it's like mine, it is a window motor from a 1996 Oldsmobile or such. CF wanted a few hundred dollars for the identical motor. Go to IRV2 forum and search for Carefree of Colorado Awning motor or something similar and you will find posts with part numbers. My signal is too slow right now or would find it for you.
