Any good suggestions on how to fix a delaminated cargo door on our Georgieboy motorhome. It is wood with a fiberglass panel glued to it. I cannot remove the whole fiberglass panel with out it starting to crack. I tried injecting glue and keeping pressure on the panel until it dried. This only lasted a short time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is nasty stuff to work with. Assume you were using 2 part epoxy to glue which is the only thing that will work but, you can take a router and rout the bad area out first to see if the plywood is rotten. Look up fiberglas boat repairs.

The corners of the door frame should come apart by drilling out the rivets. Remove one side and just slide the panel assembly out. Once out you should be able to figure out a way to repair or replace the panel.

Thanks for the info. I have tried clamping it with wood on top, but it pops out again after a few days. I either used the wrong kind of glue or the wood is messed up. I'm going to have to try completely remove the fiberglass panel from the wood and clean it and reglue.

You are on the right track, did you try using a piece of wood the same size as the door and Clamps? did you use the correct Adhesive? Injecting and weighting is the way to go....however if the wood is compromised due to water you will not get a good bond....
