Down Sizing question...

Been thinking about down sizing to a smaller class C...one that my wife would be more comfortable driving should I not be able. Was recently looking at a 2016 Thor and wondering if anyone might have comments about work quality and/or company support of Thor products. Thanks, Larry.

Google that question... Seriously. You need to look at a few sites reviews on it. I own 3 RV's (C, A, and TT) and have been an RV'er for a long time. I'm getting more concerned about the "quality" of many coaches. It's not so much the RV manufacturers, but more so the components used in many RV's. Lots of issues seem to be happening - and it's mostly now "who will honor the warranty". On a positive note, I'm more impressed by Tiffins through all their lines.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

I purchased a 2015 Thor Vegas last year and have had no problem. Shopped all over east coast and Richards Motors at 749 S Main St, Reading, MI 49274 saved me over 4K over 6 other dealers best price on the east coast. Good people to work with. Small 24' unit, love it. Motor home of the year in 2014.
