I was wondering if there is a way to add steps or bars to the driver's side door for easier access. I had read a few days ago on this site (before I was a member) that a 70 year old gentlemen with a bum knee had no problem with his steps so I figured he had more steps than just the one bar. I was unable to ask the qusetion then and now I can't find him. Anybody else have ideas?

I would suggest also checking a marine supply store for a folding step. I installed one on the side of our cruiser for climbing on board when the dock was too low. It would fold up when not in use. It never snagged on anything.

Go to any automotive shop. They have all types of step bars they can install on your MH.

I found the shops that 'specialize' in installing hitches have all the right equipment to do it, and they get what ever part you want in over night, and all that I have used were very fair priced.

Also you can call your local CG and ask who they use for RV mobile Repair. I have seen these guys install steps on the drivers side right where you have the MH parked. Doesn't have to be in a CG either.
