2007 Holiday Rambler with a 325 cummins engine, what type antifreeze should I use in the radiator? Pulled some out of the overflow container and it seemed to be a green color. This antifreeze has never been changed.
Thanks

Or have Walmart do it for you.

Not on my worst day.

You have either a Fleet Guard fully formulated which has the SCA's in it or you have an OAT coolant depending on the year of your rig. A call to Freightliner can tell you which they put in when built.

That's just scary.

As noted above, you need coolant for a diesel, not a gasser.

If this is the Cummins ISC engine, that is very bad advice. Even for the B, it is not what Cummins recommends.

Read coolant specs in your Cummins manual or your chassis manual.

There are basically two kinds of approved coolants for diesels:

1. Low silicate for diesel with added SCA (Supplemental Coolant Additive)

2. The new generation long life coolants for diesels.

With a Cummins, I would sure look at the Fleetguard coolants, as that is Cummins in-house brand. If you ever need work at a Cummins shop, they will have the same coolant as you are using.

Sorry, I should have concluded that it's a diesel with the Cummins engine.
