Fuel hose

I just returned from my week in the Smokys. I need help with a problem I had as I was leaving.

As I was gassing the behemoth up, I noticed gasoline running under the coach. I had 2 rubber hoses that connected the line running from the side to the tank had cracked. I went to my local NAPA and Autozone only to find out I had to use radiator hoses to make the trip. Problem is they won't hold up more than a couple of years before they deteriorate. I am having a hard time finding 2" diameter fuel grade hose. One is about 6" long and the other is about 8".

I know you undsrstand they will deteriorate but I would not leave them them long at all. as in a couple days while in contact with fuel. I made that mistake on an older tractor. The residue did a lot of damage in a very short time. Had to tear down motor. Carb, valves rings all covered in the rubber coating the hose left. Never do that again:o

X3 I just installed plastic tanks in my coach and bought hose from NAPA for the fill tube. Its expensive, 59 bucks for 2 feet.

napa has in the bulk at the one near me. they seem to cater to trucks. i have also seen it available at truck stops

You will find it at a marine supply store such as West Marine.
