Fuel Leak ... need mobile diesel mechanic

just started today,
took ten minutes to start, first around noon when we wanted to leave the grocery, then later in the evening going back to homebase location

I did have a mechanic, i called him, he has stopped doing mobile and is shop only, wants me to drive there, bring it in, 35 miles
i don't like that idea
since it looses prime while sitting, it is probably something to do with the high pressure side to the injectors, the HP pump or the lines or the injector distribution manifold/block? what ever they call that thing, yeah it won't be cheap, i rather not risk a fire
i have road service, but they like to tow to the nearest shop, and my guy is NOT the nearest one, rather spend the money on the mobile mech than on the tow truck, paying the extra miles,
if i have to tow, i might go to cumins in Ventura
but prefer local service

going to call in the morning and cancel that appt, and ask for a mobile recommendation
i'm sure he knows other mechs, that do it, it was his living for years
but i sure would like some fall back names and numbers
service area San Fernando Valley, LA county, Calif
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

It's running good
I put a quart of injector cleaner in it and 35 gal of fuel
White smoke on start up quits after a few minutes
That should stop once I burn the treated fuel

The problem now is I'm sick, hit me on Friday
Been three days, yesterday was the worse, I hope I'm over the hump
Couldn't spend more the a few minutes out of bed yesterday,
A little better today
I can explain it to you.

Air filter is about the size of a 5 gal bucket
A little smaller diameter
And the current air inlet is under the coach, above the filter but not much
Picked up the RV at 12:30 pm
Had a whole bunch of reloading to do, plus loading the scoot
Will get on the road later this evening, after rush hours are over
I can explain it to you.

I would not rush into changing the intake before double checking it.
On my Prevost, air intakes have been 7 feet above the ground, in front of the rear engine and about 5 feet forward from the rear.
Still driving in Mexico I got the filter minder showing 50% resistance after only 2000 miles. That on filter element bigger than bucket.
What I also experienced on my basement-mounted inverter that like to overheat at freeways speeds, somehow on those square coaches the hot air from the engine bay moves forward creating some issues.

If it's just the short Stainless piece, Camping World has them on the shelf

not to hard to get out and in, but Pricey

the last one about $149
they quoted me $288 for this one

but the lost tail pipe is what got the air filter so dirty
there is MOD for Safari coaches with this engine, that raises the filter intake away from the road under the engine to up on the side of the body,
i think i need to do that mod

Is your filter as much of a party as the C7 ?

almost ready to go
pump installed, needs a new air filter, and the tail pipe i ask them replace, because it was missing, lost on the road someplace
why they did not get around to that, while sitting there for (2) weeks ? ... IDK
some things are beyond understanding
IF they had done this, we would be in the MH right now,
