HELP HELP slide have in out alignment

I am on a road trip and 1000 miles from home. My slide (I think schwink or something similar) is the mechanism. Essentially is out of alignment and will not come all the way in. I need help.

I would trade it for a new NEWMAR with a tag axle!!! :B
