HELP No water psi after de winterizing 2006 cross county

Info on rv 2006 382 crosscounty coachmen.
Ok I am totally new to having a rv. I hooked up the hose to fill water tank and then flush out the antifreeze in the lines. I have fresh water tank filled and while I'm hooked to my hose I have water psi and when I turn hose off on the house I loose psi. When I turn back bathroom water on I hear the tank gurgle and it has very little water coming out of faucet. Kitchen sink has nothing. The outside shower very low Pressure and I can hear the system echoing. It's like I'm missing turning on a valve somewhere. The cross county water system has 4 valves and I have them all in the correct position for city/pump psi. Need help ASAP we are planning on first trip Friday.

So glad you fixed it. I knew it was coming from there. Make sure that valve is fully closed as well. Thanks for posting.

Ok it's midnight and it's fixed. New pump in and running by 730 pm still same problem. Called 2 friendsvwho also had motor homes in past. At 1030 we all about to through in towel and we had pump running and one of my friends puts his hand on the winterize/antifreeze fill port and its sucking air. He put his finger over the hole and pump changes tone and pressurizes like it supposed to. The selling dealer winterized it and never put the cap back on the antifreeze fill plug. It had a 90 degree port to put clear hose or air in it. We go to garage and get some brass plumbing fittings and cap the fill port and we have working water. Thank god we found it. Thursday would have been trip to dealer.

Good luck. New pumps seem to be quieter than the older ones so it will be a nice upgrade .

I would assume you have figured it out by now so what was the problem?

may not be relevant but if you have a water filter system, winterizing can mean taking out the filter and putting a cap over the filter area so that you do not have to fill the filter with antifreeze. take out the cap if it is there and try that. if there is a filter left in, the antifreeze can affect the way it works and that could also be an issue. make sure all valves are closed especially the outside and drain valves. good luck

I have trouble every year after I de winterizing my MH, you need to make sure all air is out before you try your pump before you un hook from water supply, go to every faucet and run until all air is gone Roy

I'm sure there are people with this brand of coach who will advis. However the basic principle of winterizing is to bypass the fresh water tank wit the antifreeze and use the on board water pump to circulate the pink stuff through the pipis. If the valve does not cutoff the freshwater tank you fill it with antifreeze. If you don't turn it back on you get only air. If the tube has a cap you burn up your pump. I use the same tube not bypassed to fill the freshwater from a5 gallon container. Obviously something is preventing the water from flowing into the pump. It must be a valve in line between water tank and pump. Try this dip the antifreeze hose into bucket of water and turn on pump to see if water flows to a faucet or if you have alan antifreeze tank put water in and try the same thing.

When your motorhome was winterized I assume you have a tube that was used to draw the anti freeze into the coach and through all the lines. I suspect that when you or whomever winterized the coach was finished they did not turn the valve to close that tube and connect the water tank. As a result no pressure. The valve is between the water tank and the pump and should have a clear tube attached.

I see where the connection is to have a tube go into the antifreeze tank. But my system there is no seperate valve it all part of the main system that I see. I will see if I can find a pic on line and post it.
