For those who might want to know what's planned for MLP -- Thorley Tri-Y headers, dual exhaust with X- or H- crossover, and Flowmaster mufflers. Small tubes to the crossover or mufflers and big tubes after that.

He ran a line from there through a hole he made in the wall to a "regulation" beer tap mounted in the kitchen. I never once saw him sober at home (was over there a "couple" of times) nor drunk at work. The man loved his 50 Fords too... Had 2 or 3 of them in various states of "restoration".Leeann wrote:

Geez ... molten metal and flame is ALWAYS entertaining ...
Seriously, I'm an old-school, hard-core senior non-commissioned officer ... drink like a damn fish but sober up and fly right before duty time.

I kind of grinned to myself when my $1800 motorhome was parked next to a $100,000 motorhome in the service center.
Lowered the surrounding property values, did ya'?

No, ^3 means cubed ... ^4 means quadruple ,,, or to the fourth power ,,, or something. (Never ask a mathmatician or software engineer to give a techinical answer after the third bottle of wine unless you have a blackboard ... and a lot of caffeine for the audience.)

Yep, electric radiator fan. As of right now, the stock clutched fan provides 80% of the noise in the driver's compartment. The other 20% is intake noise, which we're going to try to fix with the intake hose stuff, which also will give us cooler intake air (hopefully).
It's just a thought and a question - has anyone on here done it, what is involved and is it worth it?

E-fan?? As in electric radiator fan?? Your BF probably has a better opinion on that. I'm planning on using a stock clutched fan on MLP.

Griff - I still need to take some pics of them installed, but them plus the crossover pipe is a wonderful thing (oh, and a replaced flange gasket, too). What are your thoughts on going to an e-fan?
