HWH 325 solenoid fuse blew

Solenoid valve blew the 15 amp fuse in the control box and I replaced it. It worked a few times and blew again. If you flip the override the cylinder comes up faster then the time spec (faster then two other cylinders). The question is can I buy just the solenoid if yes where, or do I have to get the valve complete, stem and solenoid together?

Did you look on the solenoid for a manufacturer information. HWH does not make many of their parts.
Have you checked Graingers?

OP here. I checked the resistance in the coil and it is bad. I am just looking for a place to buy the coil alone. HWH sells the coil and stem in one piece and is very pricey. There are many types where I use to work but not one for this stem.

It could be high resistance in the circuit. Many variables can cause fuse to blow.
Where did new solenoid come from?

In a DC circuit if the fuse blows, it means either the solenoid coil or wiring is the cause.

Something could be wrong other then the valve.
The valves are generic and could be available locally. Need to remove it and take it to hydraulic shop. They may even have an idea what is wrong. Valve should have make on it.
You could call HWH if you haven't Sometimes you may need to wait a while.
