Looking for your advise as were new to the RV world and have purchased a new Greyhawk Motorhome. Any recommendations if you were us on items we should ask or have them go over with us at the time we pick up the MH. Also any items you feel is important to purchase and have on hand. Such as do you have a spare set of fuses for items in your MH and if so which ones should we consider in purchasing? Your response is appreciated.

Other have mentioned the PDI. Take notes and have them check everything.
Most dealers will give a gift certificate to purchase water hose, sewer hose, water pressure valve etc. or a discount on you first major purchase.
As part of my deal I had the dealer add 3 Maxx Air vents and a awning on my slide out.
See you on the road!

Don't sign final paperwork until a satisfactory walk thru !!! Also, when you pick it up, take a friend with you to video the whole walk thru. It will come in handy later.
Again, don't sign paperwork before your inspection!! Made this mistake once, never again.
Enjoy your new rig and have fun!!
Congratulations and keep asking questions ...

Congratulations! Here is a fairly easy to follow PDI even though it is for a trailer. Checklist/DPI_V113.2 PDF. Just so you know, very few new owners do all of this even though they should.

As "NoRoomService" suggests, do try to find a campground very close to your pickup point. Spend the night getting to know your unit and if something does not work right or you were not instructed adequately, the drive to the dealership is right next door. 😉

Spend the weekend at the dealerhip, pluged in and running gen set, in a rain storm before signing.

.

Your buyers inspection ( PDI ) Should take hours !

Every component should be cycled and the owners manual / documents should be accounted for and the person doing the inspection should have a ladder , flashlight , and a water hose . Your
AC cord should be plugged in and the generator fueled and cycled .

A binder / notebook should be started , and a small camera is useful for identification of some items .

A vehicle lift or a drive over pit should be used for the underside of the unit to check for exposed items , plumbing leaks , and routing of lines . Look for areas that need to be sealed - usually holes thru the flooring and walls are larger than necessary and will let moisture , bugs ,
and cold air in .

Vehicle should be weighed at all tires and axles to provide a starting point - the vehicle weights
listed in the brochure are general averages and not specific to your unit .

Notify your dealer of these requirements in advance - if there is any resistance , walk away ! !
