interior mirror removal

Any tips for removing the mirrors that are attached to the wall with 2 sided tape?

WD40 will loosen two sided tape and won't hurt the plastic coating on most RVs.

I removed mine by using a putty knife and working it around the sides. Mine was glued on with mirror adhesive though. I put some tape over the mirror for safety and wore gloves.

It is a black adhesive that comes in a caulking tube. In our coach we taped the mirror with duct tape, as suggested, and then broke it and removed the pieces with a putty knife. Not an easy process.

You may want to tape the mirror with duct tape. If the mirror breaks it will help control the broken glass.

If you can get dental floss around the tape, it will cut through the tape. Takes some work and use gloves to hold the dental floss. After the mirror is off, roll as much of the remainder of the tape off as possible then use "Goo Gone" to remove the adhesive that is left.
