I use an excel spreadsheet to log all maintenance items accomplished. It is not a checklist, as I use the Freightliner maintenance list for that. I have items grouped into my defined service categories.
I have all service/maintenance logged since the original owner accepted delivery. With the service categories and the sorting abilities of excel, I find it very helpful to see what I've done and then to determine what needs to be done.
