Monaco dead batteries

Each winter we store our Monaco Class A and charge batteries off shop power each month. Each Spring when we try to start motorhome engine will not turn over. Any thoughts?

Yup, the -only- thing that charges a friend Monaco is the engine. Try the cross-connect to the house batteries and start the engine

BTW, leaving your rig parked all winter is really hard on it. You should, at least, start it every month and let it run for a time. Better is take it for a 15 to 30 minute drive.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

On our 2007 Monaco Knight, the manual says that the engine batteries are charged while plugged into shore power. HOWEVER, the manual is incorrect which was confirmed by Monaco back when I called them in 2009. We added a module to charge both the house and engine batteries when plugged into shore power.
