My steps

My electric steps do not retract when i turn on the motorhome key, they started to work intermittently. It doesn't matter whether the power switch is on or off. Any ideas??

Good chance that the fuse has blown or a bad connection on the wire from the ignition circuit.
Check manual for installation instruction to determine wire color.
Some rigs have the fuse in the battery control center. If so that is where to start.

Rather than go into a lot of detail here if you go to page 7&8 of there troubleshooting guide on line or you may have a booklet in your MH it shows you how to test the motor, the door switch, the 4 way power supply and the controller. The tests require a mutimeter and are easy to do. Once you narrow the problems down to one of these areas you can post back here what you found and you will get a lot of help and ideas. Good luck.

I was referring to your steps. Are they Kickee steps? 2 steps 3 steps. Tf so there is some good info on their web site on how to trouble shoot the steps.
