New flooring question

We removed our old carpet and installed new wood flooring in our coach.I would like to remove the remaining carpet on the slide. My slide has a 2" metal edge covered with carpet that extends past the metal edge 3" to make the transition when the slide is open. Must I leave the carpet on or is there some way to do the wood flooring at the slides edge?

You will need a wood stair nose trim. See if you can find that in the accessories of the wood you just installed. A piece of plywood will need to be installed and brought inboard enough to cover the ramp
