Operators manual

Tiffin Allegro 1986. We have all the manuals for everything inside and out for our vintage motorhome except the operators manual. Have searched and searched to no avail. Tiffin doesn't even have resources for it. There are numerous people looking for one. Need a manual for all the functions of dash, levelers etc..

I agree with that 100%
Now your dash controls generally have switches for LIGHTS. HEVAC and Mirrors and radio/entaintermetn

Many are "Self evident"
There are a few you might not know however
ICC: this flashes the tail/marker lights to "Thank" a trucker for flashing you back into the right lane... NOTE that it may only work with the lights ON.. (one of these days I'll be in position to test that)

Air Horn may be a dummy switch or may turn on an air horn
Gen-Start/Stop Generator start/stop
Emer Start or Boost: this is a built in "jump starter" that connects the house and chassis batteries together may work both ways

Mirror controls have their own owner's manusl and consit of (usually) a switch in the center of a joy pad (left/off/right) and a 2nd switch with indicator light (Heater)

That about covers it
HEVAC should be self evident but on my workorse it's an EVANS system
Do not know about yours.
I need the blanged service manual as I have an issue.

But most all the "Stuff" in a motor home has it's own manual

A manual for the biggest same maker as the engine/chassis truck may help.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
Kenwood TS-2000, ICOM ID-5100, ID-51A+2, ID-880 REF030C most times

People actually read those things and since when?

1986 Tiffin. The original owners manual was generic. It did not have the operation of the various items in the motorhome or chassis/dash items. It just gave you generic how to for camping. You can use a 1980 to 1990 Tiffin owners manual and it will almost be identical. The leveling system should be HWH and you can get the operators manual from HWH.corp. The Chassis should be Chevy. You will have to get a P-30 Chevy manual from either Chevy or another source. The appliances in the Motorhome also have their OWN operator manuals. Think of the old vintage RV's as residential homes. Very few homes have a "operator" manual. They rely on the various appliance makers to give the Home owner the install and operation manuals. Doug

100%.

We've owned 5 MHs now and a TT, I've never seen an operators manual for the MH itself.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

Did you ever find it? I just bought an 84 Allegro and I'm completely lost.
