Does anyone have photo's of their water softener set up outside? We are in the process of planning the installation of ours that we just purchased. I am curious as to how others have theirs set up and configured. We purchased an On the Go Double Standard Softener with the 2 filter canister set up.
Thanks.

How often do you change the filters?

Depends. Some places have "better" water than others. Generally, I watch how "brown" the sediment filter gets. On average, at least every 6 months.

Sediment filters are cheap. Carbon filters not so cheap. UV replacement lights -- outrageous.

Thanks. Really like your set-up.

Is everything on water board accessible with softener/filters in place?

Yep. Water softener is plumbed so that system can be used with softener removed for recharging.

I am not sure what you need photos of. I run a short water line from the spigot to the water softener and my regular hose from the water softener to the coach. Done!
I have filters internal to the coach (sediment and charcoal) but if you have no filters in place currently I would put something like a 5 micron sediment filter ahead of the softener and either a charcoal or 1 micron sediment after. A sediment filter is needed in your line somewhere in all cases (with or without a water softener), it's just a matter of how much work is involved in where you place them.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Nice setup but we do not have room inside our wetbay for all of this. That is why we have to put it outside. I wish we did.

Nice install.
Have a FW so don't have room in a compartment to leave unit hooked up

Just use short hose from CG spigot to filter then short hose to softener then regular potable water hose on outlet.........either connected to 'city water' or used to fill fresh water tank.

Softener and filter sit on ground next to CG spigot.
