Hi everyone: I just bought a 1993 Pacearrow in general it's in very good condition however with age comes some issues. The one I'm working on now is I can't get the power shut off for the main power to shut off. I've got s 1993 Pacearrow with the 460 Ford engine and 68000 miles on it. The shut off switches are located above the entrance door the cabin switch shuts the power down in the coach but the main won't shut down my question is, is there a relay of some sort connected to the switch and if so where would it be located ? Thanks in advance folks!
Hi everyone first I want to thank all of you for your help. Now for the final post on this the problem is solved. Something got left on in the coach which killed the batteries one of them was totally shot the other was very weak. The age of the batteries was a major factor here. Anyway there just wasn't enough juice in them to operate the solenoid two new batteries and all is well now. It's strange the way that happened the day before I had tested them and both showed good charges didn't take much to kill them as I said above I believe she had a lot to do with it.
Whack all the big solenoids you see in and near the BCC (Battery Control Center) box with a rubber mallet. Not only satisfying, but can fix the problem for a while. So you can keep traveling.
Joe, Open up the Battery Control Center (BCC) under the hood. The back side of the cover has a wiring print of the BCC on it. That should tell you every thing you need to know.
