Needed a new step motor, the original motor has part number 300-1406 and is well over $100 bucks. After doing some research I found that a 1995 Ford 150 (and other Ford models) window motor is the same part. #83094 and I paid $30.99 at a local auto parts store. Had to use the old wire connector, used heat shrink butt connectors to attach the wires.
Hope this saves someone time and $$$. Bill

Yes, I sure know what you mean. I had the steps stop working on the old coach we had, so I just put a bungee cord on it to hold them up while on the way home. Went to the parts store for a new motor and the guy right away knew what I needed. He sold me a motor for a electric window. Back then it was 20 some bucks. Took it home put it on, worked as good a new.
