my 2001 Fleetwood Discovery has a Onan QD7500 generator which will not start. My mechanic was able to jump it at the starter and then it started and stopped normally. But since we returned from a trip and it is plugged into shore power, I cannot get it to start, any ideas??

Well considering all the experts I talked with, no one ever mentioned that with a diesel generator, you have to hold the start button for 20-30 seconds to heat glow plugs, etc before it will start.
As for me, lesson learned. Thank you to all who tried to help

X2 if the mechanic did not use a external battery source.
