Mine was old enough that I scraped it off, then applied new dicor. However, I went one step further and covered the new dicor with aluminum duct tape:
Look at the front cap seam between the rubber roof and the fiberglass cap:
I did the same for all surfaces where I caulked with dicor - and I re-sealed everything on the roof when we purchased the rig in 2010.
This seals the surface of the dicor so it collects no dirt and better yet, doesn't crack. None of the areas look any worse than when I did the work.
