I have a 2004 Coachmen mirada 30ft. It has a receiver hitch on the back and it bottoms out really bad on any sort of incline without the trailer even being hooked up. I'm wanting to get a bigger trailer and just curious what options i should look at to help/fix this problem. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I used to have a Coachmen that had the same problem, until I discovered it had Firestone air bags on the rear springs. I added 90 lbs and the rear end dragging ended.

If you're talking about inclines when entering or exiting a driveway, try approaching them at an angle rather than perpendicular whenever possible.

What Brett said. Then, lighten up the back-less water, belongings, etc. Airbags to help the sagging springs.

Is the angle of the trailer not level when hooked to the tow vehicle? Check that out...

The previous owner of my camper put wheels at the back for this purpose...They are heavy duty type wheels

I will try to get a pic...

First thing to do is get the RIDE HEIGHT SPECS from your chassis maker. Measure to see if it is within specs.
