Replace built in dinette with magic bed in slide out space

We want to remove the dinette in our RV slide out and install a jacknife sofa bed.Has anyone done this? Is it possible? Thanks for any help.

Add a 4 inch memory foam topper. It sure helped the rock hard mattress in Sunseeker 2250

I agree with bumpyroad, get something better than a jackknife sofa. Dick

Seat belts likely will have to be relocated. The strength of the mounting points is critical.

Other than the possible issues that Teacher's Pet and BB raised (i.e. space for the sofa or mechanicals), I also think it should be possible and fairly straightforward. If for some reason you have outside access to the dinette seat compartments, you'll want to take that into consideration as well.

who do you want to punish and make sleep on a jack knife sofa? none are decent. get a magic sofa bed from bradd and hall instead.

I do not see any issues. check the length carefully to make sure it fits.
