My slide outs aren't working. The fuse is good. Any suggestions on what to look for?

On my MH the jack system must be on for the slides to work.

Not enough info to make a good guess. What make/model year and what makes the slide out mechanism?

Is your electric/hydraulic/manual slideout motor running?

Running and notmsliding out is quite different from slide motor won't operate.

Check your battery first. Must have good charge or slides will likely not work at all.

Hello Mr. Wilson, what kind of system is on your coach? Electric, hydraulic? Brand name?

If hydraulic, check the pump for the fluid level. Some have fuses at the pump (ours does not). If electric, make sure your house batteries are fully charged. Since you give very little information, with your system, you might need to make sure that the parking brake is fully engaged.

Try starting the generator, let it run for a while to charge the batteries, then give it a try.

Good luck,
MM.

The first check is always the pin. There is a pin that goes through a square rod turned by the motor. If the shear pin has snapped the rod turns but not the inside. I replaced mine three times before understanding I needed a grade 8 from Home Depot. What they have out is usually a 5 but they have 8's if you ask.
